I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
